Cultural Quicksand

Don’t panic, don’t struggle, lay flat, spread your weight, increase your surface area, carry a big rope or lasso and never leave home without a horse. Valuable knowledge gleaned from after school TV for kids growing up in the 70’s. As someone somewhere online once said, “As an adult, I seriously expected quicksand to be a far more pressing and prevelant danger than it is”. I thought I’d help rectify that issue for a generation weend on the likes of Bonanza, The A Team and McGyver, by dotting them around town. It also acts as a decent metaphor for navigating complex cultural bureaucracies. Be prepared, but maybe leave the horse at home.
