Making good use of friend and artist Ann Lewis’s “Gentrification in Progress” barrier tape along the contentious and fast track development of Pedersgata, a traditional working class street and the heart of the city’s diverse immigrant population. Most of the street has been bought by a single developer and with the help of questionable city council “dispensations” and “change of use” orders and have monopolised it’s identity by policing the types of business that are allowed to rent the properties.
