Hang Up

Possibly the simplest, cheapest most practical urban intervention I’ve undertook. A series of coathooks installed on kids soccer grounds at local schools after multi-million “designed” playgrounds left kids still dumping and subsequently leaving their coats on the ground. Reminiscent of jumpers and jackets for council estate goalposts and running back to retrieve them after getting a scolding from your mother. “Where’s your jacket”?. Also proving that despite the resources available, designers of these projects still don’t understand the many “basic needs” of play.
