Mural Art

Five murals including one silo in a single day. They said it couldn’t be done. With ever increasing ambitions of scale and budgets, the Mural as “Street Art” slowly but surely pulled away from the D.I.Y culture that spawned it, until it required significant resources to produce.  These show stopping “permissioned” public artworks, often co-opted and instrumentalised by the municipality and property developers are at one end of the “Street Art” scale, this project was an attempt to both critique this shift and to show what was at the other end of the scale, the humble stencil. No money? No problem.
